You can get your new catering equipment through a selection of weekly payment offers or you can purchase it up front. We have outlined below how our Try it Buy it weekly payment offer works, as these prices are illustrated on our website, or what to do should you want to pay for the equipment up front.

Try it Buy it Rental
All the rental prices illustrated on this website for new equipment are for our Try It Buy It plan.
We buy the equipment and then rent it to you for either 1 or 2 years, whichever you prefer. You can select either a 1 year or 2 year option from the drop down box under Payment Options, before you add the item to your cart.
At the end of the contract you can return the equipment, continue to rent it under the same terms, or choose to buy it.
During the contract period you don't own the equipment, which means you are covered if it breaks down, and we'll repair it for you as part of the contract (unless you've done something silly!).
All our advertised items are subject to manufacturer's availability. If the item you want isn't available, or has a long lead time, we'll call you to offer an alternative.
A minimum payment of £10 per week may apply
Your Payment and Credit
We ask you to pay the equivalent of one week's rental through the website to secure your chosen items. Once you have paid this, we will begin the order process, call you to make sure we're providing you with the right payment offer and set up your weekly payment plan.
Before we deliver your catering equipment we ask for three months rental as an advance, although this will be returned to you at the end of your contract, as long as you are returning the equipment in good order.
Sometimes customers don't qualify for Try It Buy It. If this happens to you - don't worry! We offer a range of other payment options to make sure you can still get the equipment you need. If this is the case, your sales person will talk you through your options with you at this point. We can use the payment you've made to secure your items as a part-payment of a more suitable payment option, or refund it to you if you don't want to continue.
Purchase Outright
If you wish to purchase the item of catering equipment outright, select the 'buy outright' option under the 'payment options' drop down, before adding it to your cart. When you purchase an item outright, we will call you within one working day of your order to arrange delivery.
Approved Used

Delivery Charges
New Equipment
We charge a standard delivery charge for all new items of £9.99. All quotations and charges are based on delivery to England, Scotland and Wales. Please contact us first if you live outside these areas.
Approved Used Equipment
Delivery charges for Approved equipment is set individually - and this will normally be added on at checkout.
Sometimes very large items will need a detailed quote from a delivery service and these will be set to Price On Application (POA) at checkout. We will call you to discuss these charges.
Kerbside Deliveries
All deliveries, unless otherwise stated, are kerbside deliveries. This means we deliver to the kerb at your property, and you are responsible for moving them into position and installation.

Please note:
There may be a variety of power connections available with this product, or it may require additional connection equipment.
You may also want to add additional accessories such as a stand, castors or connection hoses.

How is U-Select different?
U-Select make it simpler and easier for new catering entrepreneurs to get their hands on the right catering equipment for their business.
Our most popular option, Try It Buy It, is a rental solution - which means you don't own the equipment, but simply pay an amount each month to use it. This means that U-Select will maintain the equipment for you.
We offer short contracts of 1 or 2 years. At the end of the hire you can send the equipment back with no penalty, continue hiring it under the same terms, or buy it outright, whichever suits you best.
Do I need to pay for installation?
This depends on the equipment, but in most cases you will have to pay towards installation. We can arrange this for you in many cases, but if you want to arrange it yourself, that's OK too.
What will I have to pay?
Under the Try It Buy It scheme, we charge weekly for the equipment to make it easy to budget. After you secure the items with the equivalent of a single weekly payment, you pay three months rental upfront, but this will be returned to you when you complete your contract as long as the equipment is in good order.
What credit checks will you do?
We ask all our rental and hire clients to fill in a credit check form before we agree to send out equipment. It's conducted online through our partners at Experian, one of the world's leading experts in credit. The form takes five minutes and is easy to understand. This allows us to understand the right level of credit to extend, which protect our customers from undue financial burden.
Kerbside Deliveries
All deliveries, unless otherwise stated, are kerbside deliveries. This means we deliver to the kerb at your property, and you are responsible for moving them into position and installation.

What if I can’t afford a three month advance rental?
Don’t worry, we have other payment schemes that don’t require an upfront payment like this – give us a call on 01242 663149 to chat through your options.
What happens if the equipment breaks down?
U-Select will arrange for your equipment to be fixed if there is a problem with it. We have a 24 hour support line available for you to call to give peace of mind.
